Hatay-K.Maraş Project Dissemination and Multiplier Effect Activities
The “Ready4RescEU” project, which focuses on developing the interoperability skills of professional groups in the construction, engineering, and mining sectors in the event of disasters and emergencies, will be hosted by Hatay AFAD on June 10-11, 2025, and by K. Maraş AFAD on June 12, 2025, in collaboration with AFAD volunteers, featuring the participation of machinery operators, infrastructure and superstructure technical staff, and workers from public institutions, the private sector, and civil society organizations. The event emphasized the importance of evaluating the structures of professional search and rescue teams, identifying hazards, participating in search and rescue activities, implementing safety measures to facilitate rescue operations effectively and safely, and collaborating with responsible professional teams in disaster areas.
