About the Project
About the Project
The project, prepared by the Turkish National Agency with the support of the EU Grant, was carried out under the title of Erasmus+ Small-Scale Cooperation for Innovation in Vocational Education. The project aims to develop a fast and effective disaster response organization by providing appropriate and accurate search-and-rescue and interoperability skills to semi-professional groups such as mine workers, construction equipment operators, and construction and infrastructure workers, thereby helping to minimize errors and losses during rescue operations. The aim is to professionalize these groups, which do not have full competence in disaster response, by developing their cross-cutting disaster-related skills through innovative educational resources. Within this scope, a distance learning platform has been developed that includes serious game-based applications and disaster response guides to impart disaster response knowledge and skills to the target group. Through theoretical training and field exercises conducted as part of the project, the target group has been provided with the opportunity to experience the project outcomes and engage in hands-on application.
